Your Title: Some relaxation and wellness tips for you!

Hi there, here are some excellent relaxation, wellness and mindfulness tips for you. Your overall wellbeing is vital- physical, mental, physiological and social. You have to set time to prioritise yourself. You cannot give from an empty vessel! So, why not try some of these ideas, especially if you feel tired, overwhelmed, anxious or depressed or lack lustre.

  • Do some breath work. Breathing in and out through your nose is recommended, so give it a go! Otherwise, breathe in through the nose for 1-4, hold ofr 1-3 and exhale very SLOWLY through the mouth 1-7!!!

  • Listen to your favourite music or relaxing music

  • Read a book.

  • Exercise.

  • Walk- mindful walking. Use as many of your senses as possible. Eat - taste, some fruit as you go, listen to the sounds of nature around you, smell the flowers etc, touch the various leaves, bark etc, look around you and admire your surroundings.

  • Oh! and did I mention book a Reflexology session!

  • Focus on the here and now not the past!

  • Eat well, be well!

  • Have the colours of the rainbow on your plate- eat a variety of food.

  • Exercise daily- whether dance, tai chi, walking etc

  • De-stress as much as possible, as stress leads to dis-ease!

  • Join a class, take up a new or old hobby.

  • Join a Bridge or Scrabble Club- great for the mins and it's social.

  • Start a journal or diary

  • Add Reflexology to your routine- try face, Gua Sha, hand, foot or hot stone Reflexology it is ultra relaxing, while at the same time restoring the body and bringing circulation to every part of the body.

  • Just Be!

  • Laugh, laughter is the best medicine!

  • Forgive and forget!
